Wisbech Lions Car Boot Coming Soon!

The top floor of the Centre’s car park will be opened up on Bank Holiday Monday, 27th August for the sale with all proceeds going to Wisbech Lions Club which support the local community by holding events to raise money for local schools, supporting the elderly and much more.

Residents in Wisbech are being encouraged to dig out their unwanted goods and book a pitch. Cars will be charged £5 and a car with a trailer will be £10. All of the booking fees will be donated to the charity.

Horsefair Manager, Kevin Smith said: “There are still pitches available and I want to encourage shoppers to come along and browse the sale. Car boot events are fantastic for finding bargains and exciting relics.”

Those interested in taking a pitch will need to book a space at the Kodak store or at the Centre Manager’s Office, which are next to each other on the Horsefair bus station, or by telephoning the Centre Manager on 01945 584109.

The event will run from 8am – 1pm and entrance for buyers on the day will be free and there will be unrestricted parking on the ground floor all day.
