Get ready for a colourful Easter celebration in Wisbech!

The Horsefair Shopping Centre is collaborating once more with professional artist Syrah Arnold to deliver a fun-filled, artistic experience for families this Easter. This year, children and families in Wisbech and its surrounding areas are invited to participate in crafting their own unique Easter bonnets and creating vibrant local artwork in preparation for the much anticipated Easter parade!

Families are encouraged to bring their own hats and bonnets to the REMO Eco-store for a hands-on decorating experience. In addition, youngsters can paint large Easter decorations, which will then be exhibited around the Horsefair Centre’s stores. Syrah and local student Nathanael will host free creative workshops in the REMO store (located opposite Wisbech bus station) on Wednesday, 9 April, from 11.00 to 15.00, and Monday, 14 April, from 12.00 to 15.00.

Those who are unable to bring their own hats will find a limited range of extra bonnets for both boys and girls. All additional materials will be supplied, but participants may want to bring their own ribbons and small decorative elements to personalise their Easter masterpieces.

The Horsefair Easter Parade will take place on Saturday, 19 April. Children will showcase their artwork and participate in a fun Easter word search. Fabulous prizes will be offered to the finest bonnets. The parade will begin at 11.00.

Additional information is available on the Horsefair’s Facebook page.

We hope that the community will join in on celebrating Easter with creativity, fun, and a variety of family-friendly activities.
