The Horsefair is hosting a Summer Fun Day on Wednesday,12th August.The day will include a host of free fun activities for children and their families to enjoy.

Adventurous kids,can scale the UK’s largest mobile climbing wall,which stands at nine metres high,while toddlers can have a go on the baby bouldering wall,youngsters will also have an opportunity to have their faces painted and enjoy a fairground ride.

Budding young artists will have the opportunity to contribute towards an exciting piece of public art during the fun day,the finished work will go on display near the Boathouse for everyone to see in the future.

In addition,Horsefair favourite,Mr Rainbow will be performing entertaining shows at 11am and 1pm,plus Atelier East will be holding a creative workshop for children,where they can craft their very own insect masks.

There will also be a number of other attractions including a hook-a-duck stall,which will incur a small charge.

Speaking about the fun day,Horsefair Manager,Kevin Smith said:”This year we have some excellent activities and entertainment planned.The Centre hosts a Summer Fun Day every year and they always go down really well with families.”

The fun day will run from 10am to 2pm on Wednesday,12th August throughout the Horsefair Shopping Centre.
