The event will run from 10am till 2pm, with the comical Uncle Mick’s magical Punch and Judy show performing between 11am and 1pm. With all the activities being available for free, children will be able to enjoy the delights of balloon modelling and climbing spider mountain endlessly throughout the day.

Everyone will have the chance to have their face painted with the design of their choice. Young children will be able to take part in the Horse Hunt around Horsefair, with prizes for every child who can find the horses in the shop windows around the shopping centre. There will also be a chance to try out the fairground ride in between the other free activities.

Speaking about the event, Centre manager, Kevin Smith, commented: “The Summer Fun Day is back and it’s bigger than ever! Children will be able to choose from a range of activities and many of the events involve prizes to win. This fun day is a great way to bring everyone together to enjoy the summer sunshine and make the most of family time during the school summer holidays. It is such a fun packed day, I am really looking forward to it!”
