Entrants of all ages are being encouraged to find the biggest cooking apple from their trees to be in with a chance of winning some juicy prizes.

Apples entered will be weighed all morning from 9am on Saturday, 16th October, at the apple day stall located in the Market Place and the winner will be announced at 1pm.

The Horsefair’s new Holland & Barratt store is donating an apple themed hamper to one lucky winner.

Speaking about the upcoming event, Horsefair Manager, Kevin Smith said: “Apple Day is a fantastic annual celebration in Wisbech and the biggest apple competition should bring out the competitive side in growers in and around the town!”
