Wisbech Town Acorns Football Club will be at the Centre’s bus station from 10am – 2pm on 30 June to sign up new recruits and promote the club which has an ever-growing number of young people who attend the various clubs it runs.

“We’re looking to recruit both girls and boys under 18 to play and train with the Acorns; we have various teams with the youngest being the under sevens. Teams are split up into age groups so youngsters will always play with the same ages with similar abilities,” said Acorns’ chairman, Rob Gifford.

The Horsefair sponsors the Acorn’s under 18’s and Centre Manager, Kevin Smith is pleased to be involved, he said: “The club does a fantastic job for local youngsters and I am sure the recruitment drive at the Centre will be a successful one.”
