The “Selfie” has taken the world by storm, even making it into the Oxford Dictionary this year, with consumers snapping shots of themselves everywhere from their sofas to holiday spots and favourite shops.

Since it was installed last year, shoppers have been using the free Cloud WiFi at the Horsefair Shopping Centre to read reviews, share offers with friends, surf the net, log into emails and now, take selfies for social media.

To celebrate the free WiFi from The Cloud, available at the Horsefair Shopping Centre, shoppers are invited to stay connected whilst they shop, take a #ShopperSelfie and post it to the centre’s Facebook or Twitter page for the chance to win a Now TV bundle which include a month’s Entertainment pass; Sky Movies pass; plus a day pass for Sky Sports.

How to Enter? It’s as easy as one, two, selfie

To be in the chance of winning, all you have to do is snap a Selfie in the shopping centre, log-on to The Cloud WiFi in centre and upload it to the Horsefair centre’s Facebook and/or Twitter page, including the all-important hashtag #shopperselfie and if tweeting, add the centre’s handle (so we can find your selfie entry!) @HorsefairSC. Kevin Smith, Centre Manager at the Horsefair Shopping Centre said: “‘The Cloud WiFi has been really popular with shoppers of all ages and we wanted to run a competition to excite, engage and reward our customers. The Selfie competition is a bit of fun with the benefit of our shoppers winning exclusive prizes. WiFi usage figures have grown greatly proving that our shopper’s value staying connected whilst they shop and we’re delighted to be able to offer that.”
