The Centre’s Kodak One Stop Photo Shop was set up by Lorraine Whittaker and her daughter, Lindsay Price, who worked for Klick PhotoPoint – the previous occupant of the unit – and was made redundant when the company went into administration in 2008.

Lorraine and Lindsay worked hard together to re-launch a photo store in the Horsefair and a year on they have no regrets and have established a reputable business.

“We want to say a big thank you to shoppers for their support and what better way to do it than hold a celebration,” added Lorraine.

“It’s been a fantastic 12 months for us. We’ve been completely dedicated to the store ever since we decided to re-open it. Our customers are all really supportive, the store is much more than just a photo development service, this works really well and appeals to all sorts of different people,” she added.

The store offers many different services including photocopies, 35mm film processing, canvas wraps, poster printing, personalised greetings cards and various gift ideas all of which can be completed on the day.

Horsefair manager, Kevin Smith said: “I would like to personally congratulate Lorraine and Lindsay on their success after re-opening the store; it took a lot of courage and commitment to open a new store in the current economic climate, long may they continue.”

Shoppers can get hold of treats and exclusive offers while stocks last.
