Steve Cozens, who manages both stores, led his team on an eight mile walk which took them all just over three hours to complete.

“We have received an excellent amount of support from our shoppers at the Horsefair. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the walk especially as it was for such a good cause,” said Steve.

The store’s funds were boosted by local business Moore & Thompson Accountants and staff and customers at the Bell Inn in Murrow donated, bringing the total amount raised by all activities to more than £500.

Speaking about the achievement, Horsefair Centre Manager, Kevin Smith said: “It’s fantastic that the group took the time to arrange and take part in the charity walk, well done to everyone involved.”
