Horsefair Manager Urges Towns Businesses To Open Loos For Christmas Market

Horsefair Manager and President of the Wisbech and District Chamber of Commerce, Kevin Smith, has took up the task of calling on local businesses to get involved and offer their toilets to shoppers.Visitors will be directed to the participating outlets via bold posters, which will be displayed by the participating businesses.

So far this year the Wisbech Christmas Market has over 100 traders, plus around 20 craft fayre stalls confirmed for the event.

In an effort to ‘relieve’ the situation Kevin Smith has asked local businesses with public toilet facilities to welcome visitors by opening up their loos on the day of the market, without obligation.

Speaking about the initiative,Kevin said:”The Christmas Market is a highlight in the Christmas calendar,it brings a vast amount of visitors to the town and it is fantastic that businesses have joined forces to offer our shoppers these conveniences. The Wisbech Christmas Market event has built its success on its strong partnerships within the town.”
