Horsefair Coffee Shop Gains National Recognition For Excellence
The Costa Coffee team in the Horsefair are celebrating having received a national award.
The coffee shop has been recognised as one of 12 of Costa’s 560 franchise stores for being a branch of excellence.
To add to the celebrations, the team were presented with the coveted bronze “flying bean” pin badge for staff to wear on their uniform. This is quite a rare achievement as Costa Coffee gives this badge out sparingly and not many branches can boast this recognition.
Andy Armit, Costa’s area manager for the Horsefair branch, commented: “I’m delighted that Wisbech Costa has been awarded a franchise store of excellence. I truly believe they have earned their achievement. A very big well done goes to the store manager, Gemma, and her superb team. They have surpassed our expectations for sales as well as service and are a pleasure to work with”.
Kevin Smith, Centre Manager for the Horsefair, is delighted for the Costa team: “I continually receive positive comments about the excellent customer service from the team in our Costa store, so I was very pleased to hear that their hard work has been recognised on a national level. They all truly deserve it. Congratulations and a big well done to them all!”.
The Costa Coffee team from the Horsefair have been presented an award of excellence by Costa’s national development manager, Teresa Leach Green.
