Horsefair Celebrating Maximum Occupancy

One of Wisbech’s local businesses is celebrating its expansion. The Workshop, in the Horsefair Shopping Centre, opened in Wisbech in 2000 and has now grown to such extent that new premises have been acquired.

Due to its steady growth over the past 16 years, recruitment agency, the Workshop has expanded its premises, and now occupies its neighbouring unit as well as its existing office and has given a facelift to the entire workplace. The move will help the Workshop team handle the ever-increasing demand for their professional staffing services and will give them a larger and more practical space for which to work from.

Not only is this fantastic news for the Workshop but also for the Horsefair as it marks the occupancy of its last remaining vacant unit meaning that the centre is now once again at full occupancy.

Ruth Whitehurst, owner of the Workshop, said: “I’m very pleased with our new offices; they are so bright and welcoming – it’s a far better environment for us to do business from. We aim to support all of the local professional staffing companies and clients. This extension will help us to achieve that”.

Kevin Smith, Centre Manager of the Horsefair, commented: “I’ve worked closely with Ruth since she first came to the Horsefair in 2000. I’ve seen how hard she and her team have worked over the years so I’m very pleased for them to be expanding the business. Their new office looks fantastic and I’m sure it will help them fill the numerous temporary and permanent positions that they constantly have available. A big well done to them!”

The Workshop is open from 9am until 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
