Help Raise Cash For Local Lions Club At Horsefair Car Boot

The top floor of the Centre’s car park will be opened up on Bank Holiday Monday, 27th August to raise cash for the Wisbech Lions Club, which support the local community in many different ways.

Residents in Wisbech are being encouraged to dig out their unwanted goods and book a pitch. Cars will be charged £5 and a car with a trailer will be £10. All of the booking fees will be donated to the organisation.

Horsefair Manager, Kevin Smith said: “We’ve got plenty of pitches available and I am sure local people will agree that the Lions Club is a great organisation to receive any funds raised, enabling them to carry on doing their great work in the local community.”

Those interested in taking a pitch will need to book a space at the Kodak store on the bus station or by telephoning the Centre Manager on 01945 584109 and set up on the day will be from 7am.

The event will run from 8am – 1pm and entrance for buyers on the day will be free with unrestricted parking on the ground floor all day.

For more information contact the Centre Manager’s office on 01945 584109.

The car boot will be held on the top floor of the Centre’s car park.
