Have Your Town Centre Shopping Delivered From The Horsefair
A home delivery service has been announced by Budgens in the Horsefair Shopping Centre.
Shoppers simply have to purchase their items then ask for home delivery at the checkout and the goods will be delivered to their home. All for just £3!
The new service will significantly boost accessibility of the entire town centre as Budgens will also deliver bags of shopping purchased at other shops when dropping off the grocery shopping.
Kevin Smith, Centre Manager, commented: “We like to think that the shops in the Horsefair really are at the heart of the Wisbech community, so this new service really helps boost that. It’s a fantastic service to be able to offer to shoppers that like coming into town but have difficulty with carrying their shopping home. This new service from Budgens will certainly help some people maintain their independence and ability to shop on their own.”
One shopper who used the service for the first time last week is Daphne Sykes, who said: “This is the first time that I’ve used this service and I’m very pleased. I can get to the store on my own but I can’t carry my shopping. Home delivery enables enable me to still do my own shopping, which I enjoy, then have it delivered at a time that suits me without the inconvenience of getting bags home”.
There is a minimum order total of £25 in order to qualify for delivery.
A Horsefair shopper, Mrs Daphne Sykes, is joined by Keith Grass, store manager of Budgens, having used the new home delivery service.
