Halloween Fun At The Horsefair
Youngsters and their parents were invited to come along to the Centre and trick or treat more than 20 shops in the safe environment of the Centre.
Children could pick up a bag to collect their treats and a creepy map directing them to the shops,which they could trick or treat.
There was also an opportunity to win prizes in the fancy dress competition,more than 50 children entered and the winners scooped a children’s encyclopedia,presented by the Mayor of Wisbech.
Children lined up to have their photos taken in front of the Kodak store’s creepy wall of blood.In addition,European and Asian owls and an electric show from local performer The Sonic Manipulator entertained visitors,plus youngsters were treated to a free fairground ride.
Speaking about the event,Horsefair Manager,Kevin Smith,said:”It was a fantastic day at the Centre,last year’s event was a huge success and this event was just as good.The children’s costumes were really creative and I received some positive comments from parents.”
“The event will definitely become a annual fixture within the Horsefair’s diary,”he added.

The award for the ‘best dressed boy’ went to Alex Dawson,aged 13 from Newcastle,who was visiting family in March during half term.

The ‘best dressed girl’ award was presented to six year old Holly Chaplin from Wisbech.
