Free Safety Advice At The Horsefair
The Horsefair Shopping Centre will play host to a drop in session hosted by local Police Community Support Officers between 10am and 1.30pm on Wednesday,29th July.
Drop-in services take place weekly (normally between 10am and 12 noon) at the Centre’s Information Point.At this extended drop-in event,residents can benefit from a free post-coding service for bicycles and mobile phones,pick up a free pursebell,which alerts the owner to any unexpected movement,plus receive free safety and community advice.
In addition,shoppers can purchase handbag and shed alarms to help deter thieves.
Speaking about the sessions,Horsefair Manager,Kevin Smith said:”Since the Centre begun running the initiative earlier this year,shoppers and local residents have commented on how helpful they are.”
This particular session will be run in partnership with Fenland District Council,who will have a representative present to answer any relevant questions from the public.
