The Centre has a whole host of free fun planned throughout the day on Wednesday, 31s August between 10am and 2pm, for children and their families to enjoy.

The popular Spider Mountain will return for the day and youngsters can scramble through its web-like platforms to reach its summit and have a go on the Centre’s free fairground ride.

A face painter will be on hand to paint fun and wacky designs on children’s faces, plus a balloon modeller will create all sorts of different creatures for kids.

Mr Rainbow will perform his Magical Summer Show at 11am and 1pm entertaining children and their families with a mixture of humour and magic tricks. Plus, youngsters will have an opportunity to have their photo taken with the Kodak store’s very own Donald Duck and for 99p and they will be given a 7×5 photo to take away.

Horsefair Manager, Kevin Smith, said: “We have some fantastic free activities on offer for youngsters and their families. The Horsefair’s fun days are always community focussed and there will be something for everyone to enjoy.”

In addition, the local police force will carry out a public engagement day, giving visitors and shoppers an opportunity to speak them, they will also be providing a free post-coding service for mobile phones and bikes. Plus, members from the local RSPB will have a stall at the Centre where shoppers can find out more information about their work.
