Every Dog Has Its Christmas Day At The Horsefair
The quest to find the best Christmas jumper has begun and it’s not just humans on the lookout! On Sunday 4th December the Horsefair Shopping Centre became Wisbech’s very own festive Crufts with shoppers invited to bring their dogs along in their best Christmas attire.
The first ever Horsefair Best Dressed Christmas Dog competition was judged by the Mayor of Wisbech, Councillor Garry Tibbs, and the winner was Toffi who was brought to the centre by her owner, Gabriele.
Kevin Smith, Centre Manager of the Horsefair, commented: “The Best Dressed Christmas Dog competition was a real crowd pull at the centre; it was a bit of light hearted fun for the festive season and is definitely something we’ll look at running again next year. The dogs all looked fantastic, I want to say a big thank you to all the owners for participating.”
Toffi’s owner won a £50 Peacock’s voucher, which can be spent on Peacock’s Christmas dog clothing range or anything else instore, as well as a Christmas Hamper filled with dog treats. Every dog who entered also won a prize that was generously donated by Nestle Purina Petcare.
