Easter Fun Success At The Horsefair

Throughout the day on Thursday,8th April,youngsters could get involved with a whole range of free activities,including scaling the heights of Spider Mountain,a supervised climbing wall,try out a fairground ride and have their faces painted.

Horsefair favourite,Mr Rainbow and his chums entertained children and their families and Cappa the Clown ‘clowned’ around throughout the day.

More than 240 children took part in the Centre’s egg hunt and everyone who entered was given an Easter treat.

“Each year the event becomes more successful,we had a fantastic turn out on the day,it’s the best we’ve seen so far,”said Horsefair Centre Manager,Kevin Smith.

“I have received lots of positive comments from shoppers.It’s great to be able to host seasonal entertainment as a way of saying thank you to shoppers and their families for their loyalty.”
