The Horsefair Shopping Centre laid on a day of fun for families in the town on Thursday 9th April.220 youngsters entered the Easter egg hunt,each child who took part in the competition received a goodie bag.

Mr Rainbow and friends provided entertainment during two magic shows and kids had an opportunity to scale the huge climbing wall and have their faces painted for free.

16 children in total entered their creative hat designs into the Centre’s Easter bonnet competition.The winner of the competition was seven year-old Lizzie Bryant.

Speaking about the day,Horsefair Centre Manager,Kevin Smith said:”The fun day went down really well with shoppers and visitors alike,the Centre received an excellent turn out,we also enjoyed some wonderful weather on the day.”
