Easter Egg-stravaganza at the Horsefair Shopping Centre!
The Horsefair Shopping Centre’s annual Easter fun day will be taking place on Tuesday 12th April, from 10am – 2pm.
There will be a whole host of Easter-themed activities, free-of-charge for all visitors. These include Uncle Mick’s Magical Punch & Judy Show, a fairground ride and a bouldering wall. There will also be a variety of other stalls and attractions to enjoy on the day.
The ever-popular Uncle Mick’s Magical Punch & Judy show will host two performances – one at 11am and the other at 12:30pm.
The Easter fun will continue with two competitions, both free to enter and with fantastic prizes! There will be a hard-boiled egg painting competition with the decorator of the best egg winning a children’s Easter hamper. Children are asked to bring their decorated eggs with them on the day and drop them off at our Hughes store.
There will also be an Easter egg hunt with a prize for every child that correctly counts the number of eggs hidden in shop windows throughout the centre.
Speaking about the event, Centre Manager Kevin Smith commented: “The Easter fun day always proves to be very popular! We’ve got plenty of activities to entertain children during the school holidays and have lots of prizes to give away in the egg hunt and decorated boiled egg competition. It should be a fantastic day, we’ve got so much planned and I’m really looking forward to it.”
