Easter Charity Car Boot Sale Success

The Horsefair Shopping Centre raised hundreds of pounds for charity over the Easter Bank Holiday.  The Centre hosted its annual charity car boot sale on Easter Monday, 22 April with funds going towards the Wisbech Lions Club.

Shoppers flocked to the centre hoping to pick up a bargain over Easter Monday and a fantastic £334.39 was raised.

Kevin Smith, Manager of the Horsefair Shopping Centre, said: “Easter weekend is a busy time and the car boot is always popular. It’s a great place to pick up a bargain and our shoppers are always so generous! We’ve raised a fantastic amount and I’m delighted to present that to the Wisbech Lions Club.”

The Wisbech Lions Club fundraise projects within the local community. Chris Gay, President of the Wisbech Lions Club said: “I would like to thank the Horsefair Shopping Centre manager, Kevin for the opportunity to raise funds for local charities at this event and local shoppers for supporting us.”
