Charity Pedal Power For Horsefair Store
The Centre’s O2 store’s staff wanted to give something back to the local community for all their support and decided to raise money for Meadowgate School to help fund resources for the children as part of the phone chain’s Think Big charity campaign.
Six members of the store’s team will be riding an exercise bike for 24 hours during opening times to help raise cash between Thursday 10th and Saturday 12th May.
In addition to staff cycling the store will be running a raffle in the run up to the event and a draw will be held on Saturday, 12th May, with the first prize being a brand new smart phone and some great prizes for the runners up.
Local Miss England candidate Olivia Landin from the Stamford area will also be getting involved and will be taking part in the cycle challenge to help boost funds on Saturday, 12th May.
“We are really hoping to make a positive impact for this local school and to give something back to those who do so much for our community, any donations are welcome throughout the three day event,” said Steven Rogers, technical advisor at the Horsefair’s O2 store.
Centre Manager, Kevin Smith said: “We’re always supportive of our tenants who plan fundraising initiatives; I’m pleased to see that the cash will go to a worthy local cause.”

Steven Rogers, technical advisor at the Horsefair’s O2 store will be giving shoppers an opportunity to win a Samsung Galaxy Y in the store’s charity raffle.
