The Revolution Launderette is a secure outdoor unit with three machines that wash and dry items. There are two sized washers that can take an 8kg and 18kg load, for regular washing as well as heavy ones such as duvets, throws and pillows. It costs £4 for an 8kg wash, £8 for 18kg wash and from only £2 for drying.

Centre Manager at the Horsefair, Kevin Smith, commented: “The Revolution Launderettes have proven to be very popular in Europe and there aren’t yet many to arrive in the UK so the Horsefair is part of a select bunch! It’s reasonably priced and so convenient, particularly as detergent is included – people just need to bring their washing and can go shopping whilst they wait! One of the many benefits is the size – it can take an 18kg load so is perfect for duvets and blankets.”

The Revolution Launderette unit is located at the side of Card Factory and will be operational 24/7 so the people of Wisbech can do their washing at any time!
