Shoppers visiting Wisbech’s Horsefair Shopping Centre on Valentine’s Day could win some fantastic prizes from local retailers – all in the name of love!

Throughout the day Centre Manager, Kevin Smith, will be handing out free chocolates around the centre and the lucky shopper who finds a chocolate with a red heart hidden in the wrapper will win a prize from local shops, including Boots, Card Factory, Cardzone and the Flower Kiosk on the bus station. The shopping centre will be running its Valentine’s competition in partnership with the British Heart Foundation.

Kevin commented: “We’ve ran this event on many Valentine’s Days now and its always great to surprise people and put a smile on their face. It’s even better that we are able to do so to raise awareness and funds for such good a cause as the British Heart Foundation”.

Kevin will be giving out chocolates throughout the centre from 10am and will be accompanied by Janet Kenworthy from the BHF who will be collecting donations for the charity.

The British Heart Foundation store is also running its popular Love Notes campaign, where budding cupids can declare their love for that special someone by posting a note in the store’s window and donating just £1 to the charity.
