The Horsefair Gets Ready For The Christmas Market

Various stalls from the market will be located at the Centre with hundreds throughout the town with all sorts of food and gift ideas on offer from turkeys to tinsel, mulled wine to mince pies, and chestnuts to Christmas trees.

In addition, there will be music, entertainment and displays throughout the Horsefair, with Santa on his sleigh located at the side of the Centre’s Boots store all with free gifts for youngsters.

“Everyone at the Horsefair is delighted to be part of the Christmas Market once again, it is a fantastic community focussed event that really brings the town together,” said Horsefair Manager, Kevin Smith.

Mike Chapman, Fenland District Council’s Markets and Events Manager, said: “The project group partners are pleased to acknowledge the fantastic support given by the Horsefair management for this ‘all Wisbech’ Christmas event.”

The annual market attracts thousands of visitors to the town and will take place from 8am on Monday, 20th December, visitors are encouraged to use the FREE park and ride service, simply park at the Co-Op/B&Q car park and use the bus stop on Elm Road and visitors will be dropped off at the Horsefair Shopping Centre’s bus station.
