Shopping Centre Cake Sale Success For Sophie

In News

Staff at the Centre’s Paperbox store raised £265 by selling cakes throughout the day on Friday 6th May to help raise cash for three-year-old Sophie Clarke from Wisbech who suffers from cerebral palsy.

Store Manager, Sandra Armstrong wanted to help when she heard that Sophie needed a specially adapted bike.  She said: “I was overwhelmed with the kindness and generosity from local people; we received donations to the appeal even before the cake sale had started!”

Horsefair Manager, Kevin Smith said: “Once again the Centre’s shoppers have been really generous. Sandra and her staff did a fantastic job working hard to create the fantastic array of treats.”

The selection of homemade treats at the Horsefair’s Paperbox store helped to raise £265 for Sophie’s Appeal.
