Brian Canham, who worked for Regent Cleaning was due to retire a year ago but was keen to work an additional 12 months until he retired last week.

The Centre arranged a retirement lunch for Brian at The Case pub in Wisbech and he was presented with vouchers from the cleaning company to mark his long service, he also received gifts and an engraved tankard from the Horsefair’s management and tenants.

Horsefair Manager, Kevin Smith, said: “I would like to thank Brian on behalf of everyone at the centre for his hard work and dedication to the Horsefair during his time here and to wish him a long and healthy retirement.”

Brian is planning to use his extra time to use his bus pass a lot more in order to travel and also relax.
