Horsefair O2 Staff Use Pedal Power To Raise Funds For Charity.

The Centre’s O2 store ran a similar cycle challenge back in May and used an exercise bike which stayed firmly in the store. This time three members of staff will be cycling in relay from Wisbech to Great Yarmouth in one day to raise funds for the phone chain’s Think Big charity campaign.

The challenge will take place on Tuesday, 25th September and the brave cyclists will depart from the Horsefair store at 7am and plan to arrive at their destination before 5pm.

“The Think Big charity helps to raise funds for young people throughout the UK who want to make a difference to their communities and is aimed at youngsters aged between 13 and 25. We’re hoping that through sponsorship our three cyclists can make a positive contribution to this brilliant charity.” said Steven Rogers, technical advisor at the Horsefair’s O2 store.

In addition to the charity cycle the store will be holding a cake sale which will take place on Friday, 14th and Saturday, 15th September, plus a sweep stake raffle is open to shoppers to enter now until Saturday, 29th September.

Centre Manager, Kevin Smith said: “We’re always supportive of our tenants who plan fundraising initiatives; the cyclists have a big challenge on their hands but I’m sure they’ll do it in good time.”

Anyone who wishes to make a donation can do so by popping into the store,or by calling them for details on how to donate online,01945 475502.

Staff members Steven Rogers, Jade Mason and Faye Kowalewsky will take part in the mammoth bike ride and Faye is pictured with her bike.
