Wisbech Town Council and the Horsefair Shopping Centre are on the lookout for talented street performers to take part in its big Summer Fun Day that will take place on Wednesday 26th August throughout the town centre.

The organisers are searching for buskers and entertainers to dazzle revellers. Artists and musicians are needed to take part in the summer fun with organisers looking for everything from magicians to mime artists and acrobats to puppeteers, as well as musicians and street entertainers of all other kinds.

Speaking about the event, Centre Manager of the Horsefair Kevin Smith, commented: “This year’s Summer Fun Day is shaping up to be really special. We plan to fill the town centre with street entertainers and lots of hands-on activities for everyone to get involved in. It is always a fun and entertaining day for everyone and creates a great atmosphere throughout Wisbech town centre.”

“The Summer Fun Day attracts visitors from all around and it is a brilliant opportunity for performers to show off their skills. With such a varied programme of events there will be something for everyone!” he added.
