Horsefair Featured In Local Government Report On Revitalising UK High Streets.

The report highlights a number of different towns across the UK including Wisbech, using the Horsefair’s summer fun day event as an example of successfully creating a children’s play area in the centre of a busy shopping centre.

The Horsefair regularly receives praise from shoppers and visitors for the various free events on offer to families throughout the year and won a national award for its Halloween Trick or Treat event.

Speaking about the publication, Centre Manager, Kevin Smith, said; “I was pleased to see that the Horsefair was recognised and used as an example in the report. We work really hard to utilise the space within the centre and to create fun activities that appeal to the local community.”

In addition to the Horsefair the report mentions key shopping areas in Liverpool city centre, London’s Soho district and Bristol’s Millennium Square.
