Free Fun For The Family At The Horsefair This Easter.
The Horsefair Shopping Centre will be holding its annual Easter Fun Day on Wednesday 4th April, with lots of entertainment planned, all for fun.
The event will run from 10am until 2pm with activities taking place throughout the Centre.
There will be free face painting and balloon modelling, as well as a fairground ride and shows from Uncle Mick’s Punch and Judy, plus many other stalls and attractions.
Children can get creative and take part in a hard boiled egg painting competition. Simply decorate a hard boiled egg at home and bring it along for judging at 2pm. The winner will receive a fantastic Easter hamper filled with lots of goodies.
Kevin Smith, Centre Manager of the Horsefair, commented: “I can’t wait for this year’s Easter Fun Day. We’ve got great activities lined up which are always popular, and all for free! The painted egg competition is always good fun, with some great designs so I’m looking forward to seeing what the children come up with this year!”
There is also an Easter egg hunt throughout the centre. Easter eggs will be hidden in shops windows in the Horsefair, and every child that correctly counts the total will receive a prize.
To continue the Easter fun, on Easter Monday (2nd April), there is also a charity car boot sale taking place on the top floor of the Horsefair car park. Pitches cost £5 for a car, and £10 with a trailer, with all proceeds going to local charity, Scotty’s Little Soldiers.
