Bag a May Bank Holiday bargain at the Horsefair’s charity car boot sale!

Following the successes of their two previous charity car boot sales, the Horsefair Shopping Centre is opening up the top floor of its car park to help raise money for charity for the last time this year.

Shoppers can head up to the top floor of the Horsefair car park on Monday 27th May from 9am until 1pm in search for a fantastic bargain.

A pitch costs just £5 for a car, and £10 with a trailer. Proceeds from the event will go to The Exotic Pet Refuge, a charity that provides a permanent home to a large variety of unwanted and neglected exotic animals from all kinds of backgrounds.

Those selling items are encouraged to set up from 8am, the car boot is free to enter for buyers and unrestricted parking will be available on the ground floor of the car park.

Centre Manager at the Horsefair, Kevin Smith, commented: “This is our last charity car boot sale of the year, it is the perfect opportunity to grab a great bargain!”

The Centre hopes that the bank holiday event will match or even better the successes of its previous charity car boot sales. A fantastic £334.39 was raised for Wisbech Lions Club, a local charity who fundraise for projects within the local community and further afield and an amazing £266.42 for Scotty’s Little Soldiers, a charity dedicated to supporting bereaved British Forces children and young people.
